I’ve never seen When World’s Collide, but if it was full of scientific plot holes and horrible script, yah, I’d validate your comparison. ;)

Thanks for the review. From the trailers, this appears to be When World’s Collide all over again, and that was high camp.

So my decision to skip seeing this movie has been validated. I actually thought I heard you scream, “Fooled You!” as the plane finally nose dived down the mountain side. When I read that, in my head I flashed back to Spaceballs to the fight scene at the end between Rick Moranis (Dark Helmet) and Bill Pullman (Lone Starr). Moranis gets Pullman's ring, then offers to give it back to him and instead throws it into a sewer grate and yells "Fooled you!" Yeah, I'm a big Twister and Independence Day fan, too. Own both and watch them regularly.
