Out of Sorts

Dad is home.

I picked him up from the hospital around 1 today and I am glad to have him back. It’s been rather stressful not having him around for the last two weeks, but on the same point, I am glad to have his foot issue fixed.

The doctor was hopeful the surgery worked and that the artery will stay open. Please keep your fingers crossed and your hands folded every so often to see this through.

Thank you to all who have kept us in prayers and thoughts and were ears when I needed someone to listen. It has not been an easy few weeks and I know while I pride myself for remaining calm under pressure, I came loose a few times when I finally had moments to breathe. I truly have some remarkable friends who helped me weather the storm.
