Today is my father’s 59th birthday. It was a rather low key celebration. I got him a small little cake, a card and a present to be named later. I can’t say enough good things about my father. For someone who has turned full circle and fixed most of the things that would have killed him by now, he shows an incredible amount of strength and courage. Getting your life on track is a very difficult thing and he’s made it look so easy despite his daily struggles.

Happy Birthday, Dad. I love you.
So I did some planting over the weekend as you saw from a previous post. I wanted to save the littlest seedlings until they got bigger so they would have a better chance at survival. I left them out in in partial sun today, and came home to find this.

We had thunderstorms while I was out running errands and I lost all of them. All of my tomatoes, peppers and squash are dead.
I feel like such a murderer.
