…deny teenager entrance into senior prom. I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t classify this as a dress. The following statement may seem like an angry tirade, but that’s because it is. This poor excuse for a proper vestment screams “I really have no caring parents who give a shit as to how I present myself to my friends.”
We need to stop letting our daughters dress like prostitutes. I’m not talking about dressing them in the stunning fashions of the FLDS but there are elegant dresses out there to showcase beauty, instead of flaunting sex like slutty whores.
Don’t even pull the racist card out on me either. Had this girl been white, yellow or purple, my reaction would have been the same. Show your children to respect themselves and their bodies, please.
Edit: I’ve removed the “rape me” comment, as I can see how some people would take issue that a dress is never the main reason that the violent act occurs. You may see my arguments in the comments below as I’ve left it up for discussion.

She looks like a dude.
If you ever let either of your little girls wear anything that says ‘Juicy’ on their asses or in general, I get to hit you with a full size tuna? or cod? if there are any cod left at that point.
Pete’s right, she does look like Easy E of NWA
And no, it’s not racial, if it was a white or spanish girl (dig on fark.com, tons of pics of duct tape dresses lately), I have the same reaction.
no vestment or lack of…..screams “rape me”. rape is a crime of hate, not passion or desire.
these are poor misguided girls who have bought into the hiphop mentality of “men can have anthing they want so i must look as desirable as possible to attract them”
very sad, and demeaning to our whole gender.
Women, carry yourself with grace and dignity. dress for comfort.
Men, start looking for the dignified ones…only they will be your friends and soulmates.
I still maintain that rape is a crime of hate. it has nothing to do with dress. how do you explain the rapes of eighty year old women? did they dress like sluts?
Defense attorneys have long questioned women in court about their dress the night/day they were raped.
Dressing provocatively is not an invitation. to rape.
NO MEANS NO. that should be enough.
Men who rape women are mysogynists, they HATE women .
If women want a drunken, wild ,sexual menage a trois, knock me down, and let’st have afun nght of kinky, I don’t care if you love me, or if i respect myself in the morning, or that was yaya good old time, i don’t remember night of debauchery, then the dress was perfect.
If it was rape, another story.
Rape is brutal. usually accompanied by some blows to the face. tearing of tissues. non consentual.
oh yeah, throw in some blade held to the throat, some threat of harm if reported, then it was RAPE.
Dressing has nothing to do with it..
There is a song that goes: “If I go to work in a mini-skirt Am I givin’ you the right to flirt?”
While the song lyrics go on to say, “Absolutely not”, I would wholeheartedly disagree with that statement. You don’t wear a mini skirt because its warm outside. You wear it because your ass and legs look good. Most women don’t wear a halter top without a bra because they want a tan. They wear these items because they want to flaunt their bodies. They want to be noticed. They want the attention.
While I’m not saying a dress like that would turn a man into a monster, I could see how it would give a very wrong impression if you were trying to stay virginal. I could see that if she were in a bad situation, it would make things worse. Catalyst. Crime of opportunity.
oops.. somehow I just posted my comment on the wrong post… not even sure how that happened… lol. If you wouldn’t mind moving it, that would be awesome
Wow… I think my favorite part is that this sort of crap ALWAYS happens in Texas. I just LOVE that it is in Houston… grr.
Anyway, this is why girls think it is okay to dress like that: http://www.musicsnews.com/content_images/beyonce_01.jpg
Nothing against fellow Houstonian, Beyonce, but it seems a logical explanation.
