Just one of three reasons why I love being a mom. I hope you called yours and wished her a very happy day, because the world wouldn’t be graced with your presence if she weren’t around.
In honor of the special day, we waded through the throngs of people at Home Depot and bought some flowers to plant on the retaining walls that lead into our garage. Here are the pictures!
This is the whole little flower garden layout.

She’s a cutie! yes, I called my mom and had a great talk.
Glad you had a good Mother’s Day.
Now that’s an adorable face — I can just tell that she’s wishing her momma a *really* Happy Mother’s Day! I called mine (like I do every Sunday), and we made plans to celebrate over one year of remission for her when I go visit Cincy next weekend. I also gave her the new Planet Earth box set — hey, she gave me the world, so I figured I’d give it to her…
I’m so glad you had a great Mother’s Day, and I wasn’t the only one digging up a storm in the yard today!
Thanks for posting the great pics. My two favorite things in the WORLD….my adorable wee grandchild(where are the other ones?) and flowers…
see that you bought stargazer lilies. I was invited to a -mothers day brunch and received an armload of orchids. live jazz band and a soak in a whirlpool.
Kate you are a wonderful mom. glad your day was special too.
love
