Vince O’Connor, a frequent commenter here on Amnesia, hosts a Minnesota radio show called “Off the Beaten Track.”
He approached me a few days back and asked if he could play a few of my original songs and I gladly and over-enthusiastically obliged!
If you are interested and don’t live in the land of lakes, you can click here and follow the instructions to listen live. You can else get to it from the just plain www.wely.com and click on the Listen Live image as well!

So now TWO members of the UCF are all famous! Tania for her extraordinarily large brain, and Kate for her tunes!
I am humbled!
Too cool!
I shall be listening. Did you fly out to Ely or are you doing techie magic for your appearance?
It’s techie magic! And off I go to do the show!
Just to let you know, I’ve had several calls here at the radio station about how much they enjoyed your music. Now you HAVE to make a CD!
What’s the UCF?
Pete, it stands for Union of Collaborating Founders and (at least at first), was populated by a bunch of folks who had “met” over on John Scalzi’s Whateveresque. Then one of these people, Nathan, start a blog called Polybloggmous, and cionvinced many other of these people to visit his blog. And the rest is history. And for more of the history, see his entry here.
Kate, I really enjoyed your stuff. And I’m possibly suffering from terminal brainfarts, but why did I think you were going to be interviewed as well as featured? I wanted to hear you and Vince babbling.
Ah well.
Excellent even without the babbling.
When Kate releases her CD, I’ll try and arrange a babblefest.
I hope you can tape it some way as i must work.thanks
Wicked Awesome.
