Would she be the one with “Lauren” pasted under her face? No? How about the bald guy?
Am I getting warmer?

Hah, I knew immediately that it wasn’t the bald guy. He was a guy, after all.
How cool to have a relative on CNN. And for all the right reasons, as opposed to “And now, this just in…”, which is never a good thing.

the name under her sort of took the fun out of it. but Gratz to her!

Wow, Richard Quest used to be a serious business reporter for BBC, then CNN. His career’s really gone down hill! Lauren’s great, but what’s the point of the report? It’s just a typical transatlantic flight…
(Though, you have to love those radar controllers in Shannon.)

no , not a typical transatlantic.flight. Europe used to be closed to Domestic US flights
first time for domestic carriers to land at Heathrow. hence, Delta one. They were most rude. freak snowtorn in London.
they would not DE-ICE upon request..Five hours on the ground waiting for de-ice and many irate passengers.
It was awful.. just so you know…

Also, factor in the euro conversion. The crew went out for dinner and spent $100.00 EACH for a meal…pretty hideous. Lauren , gratefully, had food poisoning, and could not partake..
She does not count this as a wonderful experience. When interviewed. she rose above her personal
experience and spoke well of her company. to her credit.
just so you know..
