Vince O’Connor, a frequent commenter here on Amnesia, hosts a Minnesota radio show called “Off the Beaten Track.”

He approached me a few days back and asked if he could play a few of my original songs and I gladly and over-enthusiastically obliged!

Two years ago, I was trying to come up with a witty name for this blog. I settled on “Amnesia with a side of sarcasm.”

It just hit me as to how stupid that sounds. I mean, it totally makes no sense what so ever.

So, until I find a tagline I actually like, I’ll be playing around with it.

Today you get: “Happily Exceeding your DRA* of Mental Clorox”, as it has a nice ring and imagery associated with it. I’m sure there are things on this site, that you wish you could you unread, unwatch, and unlive. A bit of bleach will usually do the trick getting out unwanted stains, so hence my brilliant idea about the new tag.

This is just disgusting and needs to be rectified immediately. How can we expect the men and women to lay down their lives for this country when they are forced to live in such deplorable conditions upon their return?  I want to vomit. Write your congressman, hell, write the President who signs each order to send these heroes off to war, and let them know how mad this makes you.

I have been having  some hosting issues and haven’t been able to get to my site for the past 24 hours, but it seems to be resolved now, after 3 hours on the phone this morning with Cox Communications and Bluehost. 

I found Twitter in my boredom and absolutely love it. If you are a member, let me know and I’ll add you to my friends list. If you scroll to the bottom of my site, you can see I’ve added a Twitter link, where you can see all the little musings of peeps to whom I’ve subscribed.

I upgraded wordpress this morning too, so hopefully everything still works!

I have a very strong objection to Liche extract, as it makes me gag. It’s one of two things that will make me want to hurl, and I’m not telling you the other.
