There are no starving children in Africa.

Nor are there dying or homeless orphans right here in America. Trust me, it’s all a lie. All those pictures you see of shoeless children in Guatemala or third world countries are produced in a studio lot at 20th Century Fox. Really, that can only be the only logical explanation as Restaurateurs have declared that a 25,000.00 dessert is a desirable commodity.

A $25,000.00 dessert? Are you fucking kidding me? Yeah, you can keep the spoon and there is a neat little bracelet with 1Ct of diamonds waiting patiently at the bottom of the edible gold topped and plated goblet; but I ask you, the rich tycoon, how can you possibly sit there at this posh restaurant and eat this when you know that some kid just died because he didn’t have a bowl of rice or sugar water?

I really dislike going on tirades about extravagance into today’s overindulgent society, but for someone to spend such a ridiculous amount of money on chocolate with a stupid name, I have to speak up. Oh and by the way, none of the money you fork over for a spoonful goes to charity.

Priorities really need to be adjusted.
