An Unlikely Interview
For those of you who’ve been with me from the beginning of my blog, you’ve seen that I am passionate about Veteran’s rights and support. The last line of the Star Spangled Banner says it all.
“…and the home, of the brave.”
We owe them our lives, we owe them our safety, and above all else, we owe them our daily gratitude. It’s time we were in the service of these men and women and took care of them for a change.
In a beautiful tribute to the uniformed, who have served to keep us free, Peter Hodges brings us back to World War 2 and gives us an emotional glimpse into the struggles and triumph of the greatest generation.
If you do one thing this upcoming Veteran’s day, besides thanking every serviceman or woman that you meet, is to read this and feel the sheer power of a most unlikely interview.
