I’ve gone into the closet.
Trying to minimize noise, I’ve started recording everything in my bedroom closet. The sound quality is actually amazing as opposed to the white noise that was in the background before.
As I’ve started submitting voicework proposals to various companies, I’ve actually stopped myself a few times due to the subject matter.
For instance, I had a company looking for a voice to promote its ’smart ip gathering computer website ad service’. Sorry, that’s a major privacy ‘no-no’ on my part and I’ll forgo the money if a product isn’t something in which I can put my faith.
It’s just interesting to see how many people will offer up proposals for things that they may find morally suspect. I guess in some cases, money is king.
