Doing this for awhile, I’ve decided to put out a little ’self help’ podcast on how not to do a podcast. I’ve compiled a few outtakes and examples of what not to do to impress your readers.
Enjoy.
Thanks to a very attentive Andy who noticed the link was broken.

OMG great piece Kate the music choice fit perfectly. That was funny and so true. Just from the experience I had from the Podcast on here that I absolutely ruined, I can say that’s exactly how it is. I used much more “colorful language” though…
This is fantastic. How much of this was scripted and how much was improv with very smart editing?
It was abit of both. I had a general outline and small script I did on the fly and then threw in some outtakes from previous podcasts that I’ve done.
By far, I had the most fun doing this one! :)
Awesome.
Hilariously funny. The music is especially good (even if it’s not one of my songs. But I don’t do funny, wry music()
I will be contacting you if and when I ever do a podcast. Hint hint.
just came across this from a link of the Whateveresque forum, awesome stuff! thanks for the laugh!
Hi Kate,
Being a complete idiot, I can’t figure out how to watch your podcast “How Not To Do A Podcast”. Maybe there’s a message in that for me, or this could be a lesson in existentialism ie if no-one hears the Podcast, then … Sadly it’s probably just my own ineptness.
Please give hints, links, anything I can click on.
:>
Andy,
Nope, you’re not the idiot. I am. When podpress stopped working with Wordpress, I didn’t realize this particular post had been affected.
It should be fixed now, so please have a listen! :)

Heh. Nicely done, Kate. Been a while since I’ve heard that voice forming some of those words.
